Triton Mock Trial

Mock Trial at the University of California, San Diego

Help UCSD go to the National Championship Tournament!

For the first time ever, UCSD Mock Trial has qualified for the National Championship Tournament. The tournament takes place April 13-15 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This is an amazing opportunity that our competitors have been working for years to earn, and it has finally arrived. Please help support our program in covering airfare, hotel costs, and registration fees, which are all very expensive. We will continue to work hard to represent UCSD, we just need a little help!

Who are we?

UCSD Mock Trial is a nationally recognized program that consistently places among the top teams at our regional tournament and earns a bid to the national Mock Trial tournament. Our program is composed of three separate teams of six to ten members. Both our overall program and individual members win awards at all levels of competition.

We are committed to working hard and doing well. Participating in Mock Trial at UCSD is an excellent way to learn about public speaking techniques and to prepare for law school.

What is Mock Trial?

Mock Trial is a competitive activity that simulates a real trial with attorneys and witnesses. Teams are judged on how well they argue and present their cases and how well they understand courtroom procedure.

Mock Trial at the collegiate level is great for people who are interested in law, public speaking, debate, and acting.

See the American Mock Trial Association web site for more information.
